It also includes book and movie reviews and on occasion some political views/reviews. Capital Irish has interviewed many Irish celebrities over the years the most prestigious being the former Irish President Mary McAleese. Our presenters come from all walks of life and each generation is represented! Capital Irish has been making programs for the Irish Community in Wellington, New Zealand since 2003. These programmes are also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio.

This week on Capital Irish, Jim talks about current affairs including the Irishman being held in a Texas detention center, the Freedom of Dublin award, the slaves of Baltimore Town and much more. Music highlights include the latest offering by Bruce Springsteen as well as an Irish throwback to the band Dervish.
This program was also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio with the support of New Zealand on Air.
