It also includes book and movie reviews and on occasion some political views/reviews. Capital Irish has interviewed many Irish celebrities over the years the most prestigious being the former Irish President Mary McAleese. Our presenters come from all walks of life and each generation is represented! Capital Irish has been making programs for the Irish Community in Wellington, New Zealand since 2003. These programmes are also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio.

This week on Capital Irish, Jim discusses the rewetting of Ireland's largest bogs, the diminishing number of Irish nuns, the number of Irish people who died on the Titanic and why its owner moved to live in Connemara as well as why the people of North Mayo paid for England’s Royal jewel.
