It also includes book and movie reviews and on occasion some political views/reviews. Capital Irish has interviewed many Irish celebrities over the years the most prestigious being the former Irish President Mary McAleese. Our presenters come from all walks of life and each generation is represented! Capital Irish has been making programs for the Irish Community in Wellington, New Zealand since 2003. These programmes are also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio.

Take a step back in time with Jim this week as he shares some history lessons from the 1916 rising through to the war of Independence. We also get a real treat as we hear Jim’s telling of the story of Oisín and Niamh in Tir na nÓg (the land of youth).
