It also includes book and movie reviews and on occasion some political views/reviews. Capital Irish has interviewed many Irish celebrities over the years the most prestigious being the former Irish President Mary McAleese. Our presenters come from all walks of life and each generation is represented! Capital Irish has been making programs for the Irish Community in Wellington, New Zealand since 2003. These programmes are also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio.

Tune in to Capital Irish on 08 January 2023, where Jim Friel will be talking about a memorial to Irish miners in Meadville, Colorado. Jim will also share stories about the Irish American who first coined the phrase Artificial Intelligence, where the term Murphys Law originated from, and the story of the sad life of JFK's sister Kathleen, among other things.
