It also includes book and movie reviews and on occasion some political views/reviews. Capital Irish has interviewed many Irish celebrities over the years the most prestigious being the former Irish President Mary McAleese. Our presenters come from all walks of life and each generation is represented! Capital Irish has been making programs for the Irish Community in Wellington, New Zealand since 2003. These programmes are also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio.

This week Andy is joined in-studio by Laurie Winkless. She is Irish born but is now a New Zealand-based physicist, author, broadcaster, keynote speaker and science and engineering communication expert. She chats about all things friction and how it was the focus of her second book, Sticky.
