It also includes book and movie reviews and on occasion some political views/reviews. Capital Irish has interviewed many Irish celebrities over the years the most prestigious being the former Irish President Mary McAleese. Our presenters come from all walks of life and each generation is represented! Capital Irish has been making programs for the Irish Community in Wellington, New Zealand since 2003. These programmes are also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio.

This week on Capital Irish, Alice Paul sits down with Aislinn, General Manager of the New Zealand String Quartet.
We we will hear all about 'Irish Airs & Graces', which is a very special St Patrick’s Day concert here in Wellington, blurring the boundaries between traditional Irish music and contemporary classical music and featuring Irish composer Dave Flynn & the New Zealand String Quartet, and guest traditional Irish musicians.
This program was also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio with the support of New Zealand on Air.
Capital Irish has been making programs for the Irish Community in Wellington, New Zealand since 2003.
