It also includes book and movie reviews and on occasion some political views/reviews. Capital Irish has interviewed many Irish celebrities over the years the most prestigious being the former Irish President Mary McAleese. Our presenters come from all walks of life and each generation is represented! Capital Irish has been making programs for the Irish Community in Wellington, New Zealand since 2003. These programmes are also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio.

Tune in to Capital Irish at 12 o'clock Sunday, 10th July. Jim Friel will discuss the centenary of the Irish Civil War, the forgotten Yates sisters and their contribution to Ireland's art, the Irish language new movie 'The Quiet Girl', the restoration of Irish historical records that were thought to be lost, and other entertaining snippets of news.
This program was also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio with the support of New Zealand on Air.
