It also includes book and movie reviews and on occasion some political views/reviews. Capital Irish has interviewed many Irish celebrities over the years the most prestigious being the former Irish President Mary McAleese. Our presenters come from all walks of life and each generation is represented! Capital Irish has been making programs for the Irish Community in Wellington, New Zealand since 2003. These programmes are also broadcast on Wellington Access Radio.

This week Andy reminds us of the great singer-songwriter talent that was Shane MacGowan a year on since his passing. Andy treats his listeners to his top cover choices including the live recording of Rainy Night in Soho by Nick Cave and Sunny Side of the Street by the Californian band Face to Face.
